Growing up in the Midwest and married with five children,  Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing after developing and operating a successful subcontracting company.

He worked as an Registered Nurse at a community hospital in the Los Angeles area specializing in Medical-Surgical, Heart Center, Telemetry, Emergency Department, and the Intensive Care Unit.

In 2014, He moved to Oregon from Southern California to work in the ICU at Rogue Regional Medical Center, a top 100 Solucent hospital system.  Jeff specializes in high risk index cases with multiple complexities.

He is the Readmissions Case Manager in the ER, and strives to reduce readmissions to the hospital through extensive case review. The workflow for achieving this goal involves thoroughly screening charts of high-risk patients, looking for any possible deficiencies in hospital or community-based care.  He daily exercises the critical-thinking process, detail-oriented chart review, and care coordination.  Jeff believes it is especially rewarding to impact deficiencies in healthcare and case management.  As a NALNC member, he is proud to make an impact in the legal field.
